Ashwaubenon, ranked 4th in the latest D2 WISCA poll, won eight events and took the Fox River Classic Conference crown Saturday at Sheboygan South HS with 527.5 points to 507 for runner-up Bay Port. Pulaski edged Sheboygan North for 3rd place.


Ashwaubenon swept all three relays and got two wins from Allison Teske in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke. The Jaguars also got wins from Kira Pless in the 500 free, Claire O'Connell in the 100 back, and freshman diver Isabelle Buncheck. O'Connell's win was part of a 1-2-T4-6 finish for Ashwaubenon in the backstroke that netted the Jaguars 64.5 points and gave them the lead in the team race.


Pulaski got a double win from junior Corrin VanLanen in the 200 free and 100 fly, the latter in 57.39 -- 5th fastest this year in D1. She's the defending D1 state champ in the event. Rachel Slabey added a win for Pulaski But the Red Raiders suffered a bit of a setback when their winning 200 free relay was DQ'd.


Green Bay East/Prebel's Rosalyn Stoa picked up a win in the 100 free.
